Urban bachata's new star Karlos Rosé is one of the most promising new artists to emerge from music's urban revolution. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the United States since the age of nine, he is known for fusing musical genres such as R&B, pop, bachata and urban music.
His debut single "Just The Way You Are", a cover of Bruno Mars's song, reached #1 and lasted more than 20 weeks in the chart's Top 20. In 2013, his second single "Infiel", also became the first bachata song of 2013 to reach #1 on the tropical chart. In the same year, he collaborated with American pianist Arthur Hanlon to perform a cover of The Jackson 5's song "I'll Be There".
The young talent is also a composer and guitarist and has surprised the music industry with his impressive success. Karlos Rosé's formal introduction into the musical scene has taken him to perform across the United States including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, California, Texas, Pennsylvania and even open the concert for Wisin & Yandel at the famed Madison Square Garden in NYC receiving ovations from the thousands of people in attendance.
͞"͞Niña De Mi Corazón͟" is his first song under the label Machete Music/Universal Music Latin Entertainment, which marks the beginning of a new stage in his promising career. Only a few weeks after its release, "Niña De Mi Corazón" reached #1 on the Billboard Tropical Chart!
With this accomplishment, Rosé became the youngest male artist with three #1 songs on the Tropical Chart.
